Our Back to School Health Fair is Saturday, August 5 from 9AM to noon. Volunteers are needed from 8-1 to help set up, monitor the parking lot, give hair cuts if qualified, assist with reception, play games, blow bubbles and other areas that require a bit of attention in the following action areas.

We will provide the following for students in the West Des Moines School District:
- school and sports physicals
- vision screenings
- immunizations
- assist with pre-registration for West Des Moines Schools
We will also provide the following free services and activities:
- hair cuts
- clothing (fall and winter clothing, coats, and winter gear)
- information on winter safety (wearing seasonally appropriate clothing to prevent frostbite)
- information about English classes and English practice worksheets
- Clive Police and Fire Departments will be on hand with a police car and fire truck
- Qdoba is providing snacks and Deerfield Retirement Community is providing bottled water
- We will offer a variety of free activities for children as well as free children’s books donated by Crestview School of Inquiry and Half Price Books.
